Our client wanted a theatre with decent performance but on a reasonable budget. Their children are twins and they wanted to host large birthday parties in the theatre room. Ample seating was a prime consideration.

The layout and sightlines for this theatre were developed in-house by Station Earth’s own Scott Sherar. The clients acted as their own designers, choosing the colours, carpets and other elements.
The floor was dug out during construction to allow for tiered seating to increase capacity. We suggested the bar at the back of the room for additional seating.
Audio is provided by a Marantz amplifier and pre-amp while sound reproduction is achieved via Bowers and Wilkens speakers.
We installed acoustical panels at first and second reflections to minimize reverberation and improve acoustics. The client also decided upon a star ceiling with acoustical backing to help with the overall room ambiance and performance. A great finishing touch to this awesome party room!
The result is a great sounding room with plenty of seating and a wet bar for those large birthday gatherings. A great dual purpose space for the entire family.
