Station Earth Launches Client Care Service Offerings

Keep your world class technology running at full throttle with Station Earth Client Care coverage and our innovative seconnect remote service.

Station Earth continues its industry leading tradition by announcing a suite of service offerings under the Client Care banner.

With SEconnect, Station Earth can access your system and resolve many issues remotely without the inconvenience of a home visit. SEconnect allows Station Earth to provide exceptional customer service and technical support in a timely fashion, so you can get the most out of your home’s technology.

We offer four levels of Client Care coverage option ranging from Basic to Ultimate. Each offering provides features designed to keep your system in peak form.

 

Basic provides remote access to your system during regular business hours using our SEconnect remote tool. Remote service labour is billed at our regular hourly rate in 15 minute increments. In most cases, we can resolve issues in an hour or less.

Remote expands coverage to 11pm – seven days a week – and includes labour for up to 12 remote service calls per year. We also provide enhanced diagnostic tools including access to our SEconnect Mobile application which allows you to manage system performance from your phone.

Proactive adds the ability for Station Earth to actively monitor your system for performance issues and attempt to correct them before you even know there is a problem.

Ultimate combines remote with on-site service coverage including annual preventative maintenance and up to 12 on-site service calls per year. You can choose optional warranty extension for complete coverage.

Non-Invasive Support

With seconnect we can investigate and fix common problems without needing to schedule a home visit.

Fix issues with your phone

Use seconnect Mobile to resolve common issues from your phone. Reset devices directly from your app and get back up and running in seconds.

Real-Time Tracking and Diagnostics

seconnect provides real-time diagnostic capabilities for networked devices including routers, access points, switches and other compatible devices.

Get Proactive

With Client Care Proactive, we are able to actively monitor your system and, in many cased, solve issues before you even know there is a problem.

Ultimate Performance

Ultimate is our most comprehensive plan. Technicians have the highest levels of remote capabilities. With annual planned on-site visits for preventative maintenance and upgrades ensures peak performance year after year.

Expanded coverage hours

Customers with client care remote or higher can take advantage of extended remote service hours from 7:00am to 11:00pm, 7 days per week. Ultimate customers can receive up to 12 on-site service calls per year.

COVID-19 UPDATE – LOCKDOWN 2.0

We remain fully operational for service and installation work, as we have throughout the pandemic.  Our work falls under the current Government classification of essential maintenance and service work (Security, IT and Telecom) to help people transition to working at home.

We are taking every safety precaution available to us. We remain COVID-19 free and our technicians are currently healthy and asymptomatic.

Our team is able to answer your needs in person, by phone or by virtual walkthroughs via FaceTime, Zoom or Microsoft Teams. For in person meetings we ask you schedule these in advance.

Our storefront doors are closed to the public. We are offering curbside pickup for those who need to purchase items.  Please call to arrange for pickup prior to coming to our store.

Station Earth awarded Diamond Status by Lutron for the 2nd year in a row

This week our Lutron Sales Rep came by to deliver another great looking Lutron Diamond Club Award for our display wall.

We are incredibly proud of this achievement. There are only four Lutron Diamond dealers in all of Ontario…and Station Earth has been one of them for the past two years.

We are very proud to sell, install, program and service such a great product…hey, Lutron only invented the dimmer…

We consistently deliver top tier projects to our clients all over Ontario. Lutron Automated Shading, Automated Lighting Control as well as Lutron’s line of high end light fixtures and recessed lighting, are a large part of what we do.

Local Fergus business transforms client appreciation day into healthcare fundraiser

Station Earth raises over $12,000 for Groves Memorial Oncology Department

Local businessman and entrepreneur Rowan McLean saw an opportunity to give back to the community in a big way. Every year his home automation company – Station Earth – holds a client appreciation day called Hot Laps where clients get an opportunity to run their sports cars on a professional racetrack to experience what their vehicles are truly capable of.  It is a fun day in the sun alongside some great cars and great people.

However, this year’s event came with a twist. After experiencing firsthand a family member’s cancer journey through the local healthcare system from diagnoses to treatment, McLean wondered if his customers would respond to a fundraising component to this year’s Hot Laps event.  He decided to donate 100% of ticket sales to the hospital foundation and offered his clients an opportunity to contribute additional amounts. And contribute they did.

With Covid-19 restriction limiting the size of the event, a modest fundraising goal of $5,000 was established. The initial goal was exceeded after only the second day of ticket sales prompting the goal to be raised to $12,000, which was achieved on the morning of the event.

“My personal experience with the Groves Memorial Hospital and the level of care and compassion demonstrated throughout our journey was exceptional,” stated McLean. “I was thrilled at the way our clients supported Hot Laps which allowed us to give back to our community hospital.”

Lori Arsenault, Executive Director of the Groves Hospital Foundation attended Station Earth on Thursday, August 20 for the cheque presentation ceremony. “Our heartfelt thanks go out to Station Earth and their incredible clients for this generous contribution to our Oncology Department,” stated Arsenault. “This contribution will go a long way to helping us get established in our new location.”
